Historical Scripts - Italic

Italic evolved in the early 15th Century during the Italian Renaissance. Italics are the most versatile hand of the modern calligrapher and can be used for formal scrolls and certificates, or for the more expressive forms of calligraphy.

Italic capitals are based on Roman Capitals but are compressed and sloped.
