Historical Scripts - Half-Uncial

Half-Uncial developed independantly from Uncial in the islands of Britian and Ireland. It developed from about 600 AD. The letters show some extended strokes but are still considered to be majuscules (capitals). The letters are written with a flat pen angle.

This hand is suited to early Christian texts or similar formal occasions. It can be adapted nicely for informal texts.
